Day 51

Happy Friday Mommy and Daddy! I am happy the Mets are 1-0. I weigh 1050 grams (2 lb 5.0 oz) today, up 10 grams (0.4 oz) from yesterday's weight. I gained an average of 5.7 grams (0.2 oz) per day over the past 7 days. I've decided to try to gain a little faster, so see if you can sneak me a milkshake and a slice of pepperoni pizza (ha! ha!).

I received feedings by pump yesterday at a rate of 7 ml/hr and I received a total amount of 168 ml (5.7 oz) for the day. I took all my milk by tube. My last feeding was at 7 AM. I can't figure out when my next feeding will be, so check with my nurse. Keep up the good work Mom -- I really appreciate that great breastmilk! Since yesterday morning, I pooped twice and the last time was around 8 PM.

As of 4 AM, I was on a mechanical ventilator with 45% oxygen.
